How to read the Bible for morning devotion begins with three steps, by knowing the storyline, reading the Bible to get acquainted with the stories, the characters, and history of the Bible, but ABOVE ALL THESE THINGS, WE SHOULD WALK AWAY FROM OUR READING WITH A MESSAGE FROM OUR LORD AND SAVIOR CONCERNING OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN CHRIST. I may be sharing with you my personal bible reading and how I go about my devotion as I have 20 years serving the Lord along with having founded 2 ministries and this one “The Spirit of Discipleship, ” I will be going into details on how I study scripture. In the meantime I’ve provided links below to resources on Bible Study methods in the description box down below. I have only scratched the surface when reading Chapter one of John. There is so much more to share but I pray your experience takes you to a closer walk with Christ. My intent here is to share with you how I read the Bible daily. And how it sometimes turns into a four to five hour study as I navigate through the books of the Bible. It’s about engaging with Christ, and getting to know Christ through Scripture for it is “Eternal Life, that we know the Father and His Son.” Along the way you will be lead to places where He will speak to you intimately. Leading you to passages that will convict to repentance and bless your soul immensely, and even be stored in your heart to encourage, uplift, and give a sound word of hope in the life of someone that needs to hear it that may be going through a difficult time in their life. I have mentioned one video a day but making a quality video takes time. Especially when you’re a beginner Youtuber. Below are resources that are starting points to get familiar with Bible Study, Bible Journaling, and Bible Reading. There is a difference between these three methods.
