Three things here I have come to know as a man of God trying to live my life by my Lords teachings, one: I am responsible for the greatness or the mediocre life I choose to have; two: I am responsible for whether or not God is with me unconditionally or sporadically in all things I do concerning His ministry and my very life; three: I am responsible for whether or not my generation, my children, and those influenced by my company or companionship or relationship, will experience God’s gift’s dependent upon the level of my commitment as a yielding vessel in His hands  – and on condition of my Holy Priesthood.

I learned this by reading the Bible. In Jacksonville, Florida, at New Covenant Ministries my love for the Bible was fostered and instilled through Pastors Wiley and Jeana Tomlinson. Though outside of the Church setting is where most of my learning began to take shape as I, through a leap of faith, a deep submergence into the Bible, became a Disciple of Christ. It was my intimacy with the Lord that propelled my spiritual Journey to a place where at this present time, I am able to guide others to scripture. To the Bible. But it is because I honor my Fathers words.

Have I fallen? Yes. Have I made major mistakes? Yes. Am I still growing? YES! But through it all, I NEVER LET GO OF CHRIST AND CONTINUE TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH. This is the key I keep hidden in my heart on my  spiritual journey with my God, Father, Brother and Friend, Christ my King. He became intertwined, interwoven within the very fiber of my life. This started by integrating myself with His teachings. Growing in his knowledge. Seeking Him out in Scripture. And then, the transformation. My life began to take shape. Who I am now is not what I was at another time in my life. He works in my life and ministry dependent upon the level of commitment I surrender over to Him. Not the other way around.

What else I have learned? That the earmarks of a man of God, are humbleness, meekness, compassion, a burning torch of love visibly tangible in the life of the believer – through Christ and Christ alone. This is abundant living. The rivers of living waters, the NEVER-ENDING FLOW OF LIFE. We are privileged as saints, and priests to carry the indwelling Holy Spirit, the seal of God – the name of Christ, the gift of Christ, a very tangible gift that we may freely give to others. The gift of God that does every work, dependent upon the level of commitment the believer has with HIM – AMEN! The believer is the conduit upon which others experience God. Because it is He, that never ending gift within us all, that keeps on giving.

The more we grow in communion with Christ, Christ will wield us in His hands like a mighty sword whose words will not fall to the ground. Whose life becomes a gift to others, and upon which the mantle of Isaiah 61 rests upon. Who fearlessly and undauntingley, unflinchingly, unwaveringly moves as with the blowing of the wind and on Gods command. Acknowledging that they are no longer the masters of their lives. But mastered by THE MASTER – God Christ Jesus.

John 15 starts off by warning us we have to remain upon, and within its life – the VINE – THE BIBLE. This is where true discipleship begins. This is the purpose of this ministry. This is my true desire. My heart. My love. That all those that come here understand, true discipleship is remaining in that VINE: Christ the Word, the Bible.

Take that leap of faith into the Bible, take that deep submergence into the Bible, because then the world will see the true seal of the Spirit of Discipleship upon the believers life and the eyes of the believer will display the endless light that lights their entire body – Christ Jesus.
